I’ve Lived at the Edge.
I know what it is to carry responsibility, make consequential decisions, and discover that the way you got here may not be the way forward. That experience shapes how I work with leaders facing questions that matter.

About Dave
I partner with founders, owners, and senior leaders carrying real responsibility and asking consequential questions about their business, leadership, or what comes next.
Over the past 25 years, I’ve led teams, run businesses, built organizations, and advised leaders across businesses, nonprofits, and government. That breadth matters because the questions leaders bring me rarely stay in one lane. A revenue problem can also be a leadership problem. A team issue can expose something about responsibility, trust, or control. A strategic decision can raise a much more personal question about what you actually want.
My work combines executive coaching, strategic thought partnership, and business judgment. We work on the practical question in front of you while paying attention to the deeper pattern shaping it.
Clients have grown revenue, built stronger teams, stepped into larger roles, changed how their organizations operate, and made decisions they had been avoiding.
The work is practical.
It is personal too.
Because the person leading the organization is part of the system.
Outside the room
The mountains, rivers, desert, and wild places around my home in Colorado have shaped much of my life.
They have taught me about judgment, risk, patience, partnership, attention, and what happens when conditions refuse to cooperate with the plan.
Sometimes getting outside is useful to the work.
We might walk, climb, ski, shoot a bow, or simply get away from the usual environment long enough to see something differently.
Sometimes we won’t.
The setting has never been the point.
The work is.

My Commitment
Every leader deserves a space where they don’t need to perform, prove, or pretend.
My commitment is to bring candor, curiosity, steadiness, business judgment, and care. To tell you what I see. To question what deserves questioning. And to stay close enough to the work for something real to change.
